Founded in 2011, Worker, Inc. has produced designs for commercial office tenant improvements, historic rehabilitations, restaurants, single family homes, residential additions, multifamily apartments, and commercial office buildings.

Our priority is to understand our client's goals and needs and to mesh those with the regulations, environmental factors, site context, and economics that impact the architectural project.

We take pride in our abilities for functional and aesthetic site and building designs. We are able to generate a multitude of options that expose the strengths and weaknesses in the design options. The comparisons allow the client to arrive to a recommended approach without much second guessing.

We enjoy investigating a variety of approaches to materials and finishes for every project. We are familiar with adobe, concrete masonry unit, concrete insulated form, structural insulated panel, timber frame, light straw, light frame (metal and wood), steel post and beam, brick masonry constructions, aluminum panel, steel panel, wood siding, lime plaster, and of course, stucco.

Our work has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects, the Unviersity of Arizona School of Architecture, Sunset Magazine, the American Concrete Institute, Arizona Society of Landscape Architects, Metropolitan Pima Alliance, Custom Home Magazine, the Tucson Pima County Historic Commission, Residential Architect Magazine, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, Arizona State Parks, and the National Park Service.

We value our community and have volunteered for the Tucson Pima County Historic Commission, the City of Tucson (stakeholder for ADU and Commercial Corridor studies), as a steering committee member for Affordable Housing for Adults, as an Architect-in-Residence with the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson, and guest teacher at City High School.
